Job Description
 

The successful candidate will belong to the Photon Factory and is expected to take part in one of the following research themes with corresponding staff.
1) High-resolution angle-resolved photoemission studies on electronic structures of nano-materials and development of high-resolution photoemission system using undulator radiation.
2) Studies of photo-induced phase transition using the inner-shell spectroscopy (X-ray absorption and resonant X-ray emission spectroscopy), and the fundamental aspects of the inner-shell processes.
3) Dynamic structural studies of formation process of nano-particles by using nanosecond time-resolved XAFS and time-resolved energy dispersive XAFS.
4) Study of core-excitations, Auger decays, and ion desorption of solid surfaces using coincidence spectroscopy.

Qualification
  Scientist holding Ph. D. who is under 35 years old as of April 1, 2005.
Method of Selection
  As a general rule, we will make selection on the basis of interview submitted.
Conditions
  1) Salary; roughly 300,000yen par month (will be calculated according to various conditions)
2) Working hours; under 20hours per week
