In order to enhance support for foreign researchers and students who stay in KEK, Users Office has started to provide more services. Please inform relevant people and contact us we can help.

1. Support for applying and extending visa
   (Except for the cases handled by the International Affairs Division)
2. Support for applying Alien registration and National Health insurance
3. Support for school educational for user’s family members
5. Support for opening and closing a bank account
6. Support for getting Japanese driver license
7. Support in case of emergency situations
8. Support for getting a medical treatment
9. Cooperation with outside organizations
A staff from Users Office would accompany the user to outside of KEK

   if the situation necessitates.

3. Reservation for dormitory rooms and apartments.
4. Handle room/lodging payment
5. Paperwork for official trip planning and calculation of travelling expenses
6. Provide KEK ID card, Renting a bicycle
7. Arrange wireless LAN
8. Support for conducting joint experiments
9.Offer side supports for experiments and various advisory committees
10. Paperwork for accepting researchers and undergraduate students
